Dropdown based on dataset

Hi. This is a very basic question but I can’t for the life of me figure it out. I have a couple of collections out of which I am making datasets. I connected a dropdown to this dataset, but the options from the dropdown never change to the values I actually have on my collection… so am I doing something wrong?

I figured it out, the crappy dataset got created as a Write only by default and I couldn’t find it to edit it because it got stuck behind the map.
