Dropdown with images

Hi, I am trying for several days to replicate the corvid example for dropdown with images
https://www.wix.com/corvid/example/dropdown-custom-element

Unfortunately, I don’t manage to solve this error message
“Error parsing web-module ‘public/dropdown-design.js’: Unterminated template (19:20) while parsing file: public/dropdown-design.js”

I understand there’s an issue with the code, I have reviewed the code again and again unsuccessfully.

Can you help me pls? Here the URL https://mikayitz.wixsite.com/mysite

Thank you.
Mikael

Hi,
I see that your site’s URL is a free Wix URL. Note that only premium Wix users on sites with their own domain and Wix ads removed can work with custom elements. Click here to learn more.
This might be one of the reasons the functionality doesn’t work as the code seems okay.
If after the upgrade the functionality still doesn’t work, please contact Wix support here .

Hi Aleks,
Thanks for your feedback. Actually, I have a premium plan and I didn’t want to connect the domain until the site was not ready to go.
Nonetheless, I’ve connected the domain and removed wix ads. Unfortunately, the issue is still live. I would try again with the Wix support team and let you know. Thank you.

Hey @mikael , glad to see you’re giving custom elements a try.

The error that I see is “Unterminated template”:

So what you need to do is to terminate :

I hope this helps. Good luck!

Thanks @yisrael-wix
Now I have another issue and I don’t understand the error message.
I’ve also included the DB screenshot.
Please help! Many many thanks.
Mikael

The collection ID is all small letters. You want to use countrieslist :

Of course! Sorry for my mistake!

Now it says “Loading the code for the Country dropdown page. To debug this code, open f62zp.js in Developer Tools.”

Any idea??

Thank you @yisrael-wix

Actually, I have a 404 message

Please realize that we are unable to fully debug user sites.

However, I did notice that your CountriesList collection has only two items, with most of the fields being blank. I imagine that that is your problem. You need to add all of the data as in the example .

If that doesn’t help, try running the example and compare with yours. I’m sure that you probably missed something when moving the code over to your site.

Good luck

Noted with thanks.
FYI, the database is not visible in the example. Can you kindly provide a screenshot?
Thanks.
Mikael
