Hi, I’m working on a website using new collection and dynamic pages features. I would like to insert a wix music player that dynamically change artist and sogs according to the page generated from a dataset (in this case the artists dataset).
Is it possible to do something like that, with wix code, or can you give le some advice on how to achieve this even with other applications if necessary?

I think you need some music player that can be started through a html component. You can’t reach any vertical Wix Software at this point using Wix Code.

We at Wix are always striving to bring new and wondrous things to our users. Currently there is no support for using Wix vertical apps with WixCode, but this is something that is being worked on. Feel free to submit your request to the Feature Request forum.
What Andreas was referring to is that it’s possible to use the $w.HtmlComponent to embed an external online media player on your page. It will require some programming to send messages back and forth between your page and the code that’s residing in the HtmlComponent.

Was this issue ever resolved. I would also like to add music to a button on my dynamic page from a dataset. It wouldn’t be on every page, however. Thank you!
I’m too am waiting for either Wix Music Player be compatible with Wix Blog or with Dynamic pages. It looks like almost 3 years have passed since the first post and nothing has changed. I actually don’t Wix will ever do it.
