Dynamic rich text in a repeater from a dataset?

Is it possible to display rich text in a dataset from the cms, into a repeater, in Wix Studio?
All I see when placing the various text elements and attempting to connect the content is “Description (Rich Content)” is greyed out and the tooltip "Description (Rich Content) can’t be connected to this element. This doesn’t seem possible that this feature is crippled. What is the point of the CMS?

I also attempted to fetch code from the CMS, but the rich text is all broken into separate nodes, per each change in formatting or if a link was added. Also not all the elements appear in the returned JSON.

Any advice would be great.

To connect rich text, you need to use a “Rich content” element, not a text element

I am only commenting in case someone else with the same issue comes here to find an answer.

The above comment is slightly incorrect.

Rich Text can be connected to a Text element.

Rich Content cannot.

So you can either go into the database collection and change your Rich Content field to a Rich Text field in order to use a text element. Or leave it as-is but use a rich content element in the editor instead.
