Dynamically changing text input font

I have a page consisting of font selection dropdown (Noto Sans, Noto Sans JP, Noto Sans KR etc), as well as a text input element. What I want to be able to do is have the dropdown change the font used in the text element so that if the user enters, say Korean, it renders properly in the text element rather than displaying tofu.

Is there a way to dynamically change the font used in a text input element? The Velo reference for the text input element does not list such a method as far as I can see. Does this mean I need to roll my own custom element, or is there a simpler way?

As far as I know, you’re correct, though maybe someone in the community has another solution.
