Editing overflow (hidden) content

This is a question about Wix Studio Editor.

I seem to be unable to edit content in a horizontal scroll where many of the items are off the right side of the page when in editing mode.

I’ve tried a number of things, including locating on the items in the layers panel and then clicking on the three dots to reveal menu options, one of which I found is called “restore to viewport.” (That menu item is only visible when you want to access an item that is outside the work area.) But that didn’t didn’t reveal the hidden items.

Would love to know how to access this invisible content in order to edit it. Thanks for any help.

If you click on the page you can set the overflow content to show in the right hand inspector panel

this will allow you to scroll across and view the content.
Just remember to switch it back to Hide once you have edited the elements

Exactly as @Dan_Suhr suggested!

The alternative is to select the item in the layers, and change its order. For example, if you are using flexbox, bring the item to the first position, make the changes, then return it back to the desired position.

Thank you very much. This worked. I had gone to “show” overflow content for the section and other layered items, but hadn’t thought to check it for the page.

I had also figured out a backdoor way to access the pages using the layers panel exactly like @noahlovell described, by . That got what I needed.

Thanks, Noah. This works, too. This was the backdoor way that I figured out as well to access the panels in my flexbox horizontal scroll.

If you highlight this sentence, nothing magical will happen.
