Editing Shipping Events

Hi there,

We were wondering if there is possibly a way to intercept the shipping/store event on checkout?

Let me explain what we are trying to achieve…

Our shipping partners calculate the shipping based on a volumetric calculation, which is not catered for in the current wix shipment methods, and not just weight.

We are wanting to create a new collection, called dimensions, which will tie to the product collection using the product ID. We then will perform our own volumetric calculation based on the products selected by the customer.

However… how do we then edit the shipping amount that displays on the checkout page to read our value and not the wix calculated amount?
If there is no way, is there a way to create our own unique checkout page?

Hi PB Co we have the same problem…The actual wix-stores API does not have any service that allow us to manage shipping price.
we need a way of changing the Shipping Rules not only by Country and Region but also by postal Code or region as it is possible in the Wix Restaurants…

A simple API to allows to interact with Shopping Cart and place the selected Shipping Rule would solve the problem.
