Element collapses in editor but not on mobile live site

A strange one, an element I have in the header won’t collapse anymore. It was working for about a 12months but noticed today that it doesn’t collapse on mobile.

site is www.scottishrockandwater.com

I have cleared cache, tried incognito and other phones/browsers all the same

The dropdown which is set to collapse is on all pages as it is in the header.

Hi! I’m trying to see the problem, but looks like you already wrote some code to fix it? I cant reproduce it anymore

@mikhail-spirin-wix I have managed to get a work around… that it doesn’t need to collapse on load

@mikhail-spirin-wix I think there might be an issue generally with the site with elements collapsing and expanding…

The item page https://www.scottishrockandwater.com/courses/Rock%20Climbing/Learn%20to%20Lead%20Climb

is very glitchy, particularly in mobile filtering through the page menu (yellow dropdown)

Also the payment page is causing issues. The multi state box doesn’t expand far enough if you select more than ‘4’ again works fine on editor but not on live site…

Can you help please? I’ve had two booking potentially lost due to this as it ‘continue’ button gets pushed under the footer!

Hi! Im sorry for the long answer. We fixed some stuff about collapse/expand, can you please tell me if it still happens? If yes, what exactly?

@Mikhail the issue seems to be resolved… I see that the lightning fast speed has been remove for the time being after this matching with these issues.

Thanks for sorting the issue and looking forward to the speed improvements coming back as it was very impressive!

Sure. We investigate issues with hide/show and collapse/expand in mobile and desktop, once it’s done (i have no answer when), your site will be fast again)

Hi Mikhail,

I have the same issue where boxes set to collapsed on page load are visible. This has been happenning since last Thursday. I get the following error in the console:

  1. This only seems to be happening on dynamic pages.
  2. This only happens if I access the page via a link. If I refresh the page or access the page by inserting the URL directly then no problem.
  3. Now for the really bizarre - if I access the page via a link in the header then the problem occurs. If I access the page via a link in the body then no problem.
  4. The problem occurs on all desktop browsers, but not on Chrome on iPad (for example).

This is a major issue for my site…

Hi! Can you please share url of your site so we can check?

Hi Mikhail. Thx for getting back to me. This happening on a members only dynamic page - so not for public viewing. Can I share the details with you directly?

@npiquito Only wix staff can open your editor and see such members-only pages. So in order for me to check the problem, you can share url of your site and name of the page. There is no option to contact directly on this forum

@mikhail-spirin-wix No problem. Site URL as follows:

https://www.glideslope.capital/

I’ve setup a test scenario with two buttons on the right hand side of the home page. Both buttons take you to the same “Business - Dashboard” dynamic page with two boxes - one hidden and one collapsed.

If you click on the “Business Dashboard 1” button in the page header the page loads showing both boxes with the following error:

If you click on the “Business Dashboard 2” button in the page body of the home page the page loads with neither box visible (as it should), with no error.

To repeat - both buttons are sending you to the same dynamic page. Something is wrong.

Appreciate your help and feedback.

@npiquito I see the problem in behavior, but i checked your collection and i noticed that there is no field for link for this dynamic page and no path there. It exist for all other 4 “business” dynamic pages.
Can you please try to make this page regular and then back to dynamic, so such field appear again?

To me it looks like some glitch in creation of dyn page…

Its definitely not connected to initial problem discussion

Though, expand/collapse issue is known and investigated. I will exclude your site from rollout until problem is fixed
