Email sent from Sendgrid, can this be added direct to Google calendar as an 'attachment'?

Hi,

After successfully setting up adding events to google calendar via the Google API and a great tutorial by Lemondude. It has me wondering if it would be possible to add an email direct from Sendgrid to the ‘attachments’ section of Google calendar?
