O.K so I created a page to collect data on customers, basically I need three inputs:
email
schoolname
password
the input works ok with my database and email field is unique. I don’t need a members area/pages but I do need a forum so customer are able to discuss my program. So how can a customer, once signed up, access the forums page by signing in bypassing the signup for the forum? I have tried to enable custom sign up but this gives only the option via a lightbox ?
Any other solution?

Once a member has registered to your site and then logged themselves in, they shouldn’t then need to sign in again to access the forum.
If you have a link directly to the forum page straight from your home page for example, then you’ll still need to have them login to access the forum by Wix own login window or your own custom login lightbox etc.
Just have a button linked to the forum page or the latest forum posts element on a page and adjust the code for that page so the button or latest forum posts are only shown once the member has logged in.
After you add Wix Forum, two pages are added to your site:
**Forum Page: ** Your main forum page, where forum posts appear.
**Members Page: ** On this page, forum members can view other members of the community, follow other members, and more.
You can also set the Forum page permissions to everyone, so that anybody can view it.
However, you will still need users to login to be able to use the forum itself.
