Dropdown list for tags

What are you trying to achieve:
A dropdown list on my forms. Currently only Radio Buttons allow displaying Tags, but this is impractical when you have a lot of tags. A Multiselect dropdown list (where you can search and select multiple tags) is my requirement.

Additional information:
Currently the Dropdown List element only connects to Text and Number field types.

I saw a similar request on the Product Roadmap & voted for it. Hope its implementation can be expedited.

Do you know a source for a tutorial for this? The following YT vid is the closest, but has instructional gaps at some key stages of implementation.
