I had my website code working with no issues until this evening. And I have suddenly started noticing the error “failed to get data from (new) server syntaxerror unexpected token in json at position 0” in the console, when navigation from one page to another.

Can anyone provide some tips how to about troubleshooting this error?

Please let me know if you need me to post the code and I will do so.

Hi,
if the code was working previously then suddenly stopped working and you did no changes, I’d recommend contacting Wix Customer Care for support here .

I was on the thinking that it could have been a code issue as in this same post here about the error of ’ Failed to get data from (new) server: SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0’

However, as we have two forum posts about the same thing it might not be the code used and it might be an error on Wix side.

So please do what Aleks has already mentioned and notify Wix Support and they can tell you if there is an issue or not and raise it to the relevant team.

@givemeawhisky I getting the same error. It is only appearing when I preview (not on the live site) and is not causing anything to break as far as I can tell

Are you running a calendar app that looks out to Google Calendar?

I have the same problem and recently installed a Wix app. I wonder if this is causing the error.
