Wix favicons have me a bit confused. Below is an example of the problem I’m having. Can anyone help me understand how to control how my favicon displays?
I upload a .png favicon like this (note it does not container/box. It’s just the logo):
And it displays like this:
“Okay, fine.” I think. "I guess I have to make the image square, so…I add a square white box around it like this:
But it still displays like this (note how it’s being cropped):
Hi Shannon, the size of your favicon should be a multiple of 48px square unless it is an SVG file.

Just tried an SVG and it didn’t work.
Welp…the multiple of 48 didn’t work either. I tried one that was 960x960 and that didn’t work, so I tried one 48x48 and that turned out like this:
Hey Shannon, you might have to scale the logo a bit more in order to fit the frame.
