I have been looking at changing my site to a Progressive Web App and I also noticed if you save my site to my iPhone Home screen it takes the Favicon from the editor. Currently this is a Low res image and it look poor compared to other sites. See examples below my site MaxPhysio.ie and CNN and BBC. It would be great if you would allow High Resolution images to used as Favicon.

It does not take the favicon image. For this you can assign a different image of recommended size 180 by 180px for iPhones. (For favicon recommended size is 16by16)
