Filtering a Database table with a dropdown

Hi,

I’m a little new to wix coding and I have a problem I’m hoping somebody can help me out with.

I’m currently designing a website for a healthcare company and they have asked for a ‘Directory’ to be set up of all of their medical specialists so people can search for them and find their professional details. I have already set up a table connected to a database and have also set up a text search for people to search by name, and all of this works fine, but I also need to set up a drop down that will filter the specialists by their department of expertise if they don’t know a doctors name. This is what I am currently struggling with.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :slight_smile:

Also, Wold appreciate assistance with how to create a text search box.

This video helped me out with created a text search box, unfortunately it doesn’t help with drop down filtering.
