Hi, @user5047 !!
It’s likely that the trick here is simply applying a parallax effect. Although it appears to be beneath other sections, the section containing the black-and-white background image of the man is actually aligned on the same layer as the other sections. Here’s how to set it up:
First, try adding a new section. Select the section and go to the inspector panel on the right side of the editor. Set any background image for this section. Then click the section again to select it. You should see a small horizontal menu appear near where you clicked. Look for an option with a name like “Background Scroll Effect” or something similar. Select that option and choose “Parallax.”
That’s it for the setup. Now, add another section below this one and check the scrolling effect. Did it work successfully?

Great, that’s it. Thank you so much. There is also the style “Reveal” which freezes the picture completely. But Parallax also looks nice with the gentle move

You’re very welcome!
Just having this effect instantly makes everything look more professional and stylish, doesn’t it? Especially when added to responsive sites built with the Wix Studio Editor, it really elevates the sense of luxury.
To be honest, I didn’t clearly remember how to achieve this until I came across your question.
I’ve never used the parallax effect in Wix Studio Editor before, though I had always admired it. But when I actually tried it, I was surprised by how simple the trick was.
Thanks to your question this morning, I was able to try something new. I truly appreciate you asking!
