I’m having trouble with
creating a fixed footer reveal. I’ve looked at what was posted here (Fixed footer reveal), but since I’m new to Wix Studio I can’t work out how to ‘hide’ the reveal content. When I send the content back on the page, it’s still visible.

What I’m trying to do
I want to create a reveal footer on a landing page, but can’t work out how to do it. The link above gave some useful info, but I can’t see exactly how the reveal text is hidden, as sending it back/moving it back doesn’t remove it from the main section.
What I’ve tried so far
Everything I think! Setting the reveal section to sticky (top/bottom), sending it back. Creating a stack with the reveal text in, as well as leaving it as isolated text. I really can’t work out how to achieve this, and advice online seems contradictory.
The video is showing that the objects above and the “footer” has to be in the same section. You can not reveal a footer like the example web page in the post. It will not work with individual sections. Did you try this?
Sorry, but I don’t really understand your reply - not being rude.
I’ve managed to work this out now, and you can certainly reveal text underneath a container within a section, but there’s more nuance to it than is shown in the recording. The reveal has to occur within the same section, agreed, but the issues is ‘how’ to stack the elements as it’s not immediately clear for a newbie to Wix Studio who has used classic wix. The main thing is that you have to create the reveal text first (at the top of the section), set the sticky on the grouped/stacked elements (untick ‘keep in front’) then move the elements/stack back using the arrange feature. Once you’re happy with the layout drag your ‘top level’ container (it has to be a container to get the reveal effect) over the top of the reveal elements such that you cover them. All of this is done in the same section. You shouldn’t see the reveal elements through the top level container (assuming transparency is not low), and make sure you leave enough padding below the cover container so that the reveal elements can display. I think the ordering is key here as I’ve tried it a number of other way and it doesn’t work. I wonder is a bug or two in the code around this.
