Is there any way to add a link from the home page of my site that would “FOLLOW” a category or a member? I want it to be super easy to follow a forum. The link needs to do exactly what would happen if you clicked follow on the forum category page or on the follow button on a members page.

This is a forum related question, and this forum is specialised in Wix Code.
Right now, Wix Code does not have an API for forum (but we know it is wanted).
I suggest contacting Wix Support . They know best.
