Google Maps element blocked

I’m having trouble with
My google maps element, with data shown from a CMS daatabse, is being blocked with an error: “Google Maps was blocked due to your analytics cookie settings.”

What I’m trying to do
I need 2 google maps shown with custom points that were set with a CMS database

What I’ve tried so far
nothing much other than searching

Extra context 1
We did add than remove a cookie consent bar earlier this month, was this the reason why it is now blocked? is there a way to revert any code left from the addition to the cookie bar?

I posted on reddit r/wix about this and i got a response about how google API needs a “handshake” with Wix. And that this is a new policy in Wix Studio. I cannot find the documentation. And if it is new policy, does anyone know the date it was established?

Does it still happen for you after clearing cache and cookies? There’s a chance that the data stored from the cookie banner has persisted, and hence the Google Map sees it and presents this message?

Yes, the error persists even after refresh and clearing cookies.

I am going through to see if any residual codes or settings still remain from the cookie banner that I removed.

Do you know if there may be “hidden” / hard to find residual code I’ll need to change?
