Header is wrongly displayed in mobile view

Question:
Suddenly my footer is crashing my mobile view with a big white bar and I am not able to hide or delete it. I assume it has something do with my menu which is anchored in the header. (Picture below show mobile view with header activated)

What are you trying to achieve:
I’d like to have my menu icon shown on my mobile version without having this huge white bar occupying the screen.

Thanks for any help community!

Hi YADA,

The rule is: Mobile Version follows Desktop Version.
So if you have a footer on desktop Version its gonna show in mobile Version as well.
If you want no footer in mobile Version, you need to delet the footer in Desktop Version.

Tip: You can adjust the height of the footer (or values of any element) with “tools”.
For that in the top right corner go to tools > Bearbeitungsleiste > now you can adjust the height of your footer (not delet it tho, as explained above)

Hope this helps!

Hi @Raffael_Kramer , thanks for the prompt reply!

I’m somewhat familiar with the rules of desktop vs mobile.
Anyhow it looks like an error to me how the mobile footer follows the desktop footer.

I don’t have an unusual footer. Pretty simple top bar with menu dots and a logo. Using as less space as possible. But when I click on the mobile version it occupies the entire screen, the menu is gone and it’s just blank white. This doesn’t look like usual behaviour of the tool, isn’t it?

I’m attaching a link to a screen recording for better context.

Any further thoughts on this?

Your help is highly appreciated!

Ah, so first of all you are talking about the header not the footer.
And this is quite normal behaviour of the default mobile version. You need to adjust the mobile version to your liking.
So in your example what happens when you adjust the height of the header by draging up the bottom bar? Does that not work?
