Help before I have to leave Wix - because mobile sites look awful on Facebook and Instagram in-app browsers

My Wix website (and all other Wix websites I checked) look terrible when opened from a mobile in-app Facebook or Instagram browsers, on android devices (I didn’t check all devices, but I have two, and both have problems).

Headline letters are ginormous, text is overlapping, and the site is just unreadable.

All iOS devices I checked do not have this problem.

This is causing me to lose money, because my traffic is exclusively from Facebook and Instagram paid campaigns.

AND - every other platform seems to be working fine, so it’s definitely a wix problem.

When I called the team, they made me think like I was the only one experiencing this problem, and they’ve been “checking” it for over a month, with no results. But now I decided to dive deeper into it - and it looks like people have been complaining about similar problems for years, both here and on other forums (like reddit).

So this makes me less hopeful that this problem is going to resolve anytime soon.

And I am thinking my only option is to (really sadly) leave Wix. So my last hope is here - perhaps anyone managed to fix this problem somehow?

I really don’t want to leave. I love my wix website, and wix support is the best!
Hope someone can help.
Thanks

What are you trying to achieve:
Get my website to open properly from mobile in-app Facebook and Instagram Browsers on Android.

What have you already tried:
Contacting wix support several times.

I have the same problem!!!
It worked perfectly normal until December. But since then it always shows in desktop version when I’m reaching it through Instagram.
I’m loosing my mind as I cannot fix things and I’m loosing clients.

Please provide screenshots showing the problems you are talking about. It seems to me that the problem lies in the scaling settings of text elements and the height of sections/containers (100 vh, etc.).

Same problem, i will leave wix

No it’s not about that. When I reach through FB it looks completely normal on mobile, its in mobile version. But if you reach through Instagram it is in desktop version. It’s not about having element in the wrong place. It was working completely fine until two months ago.
