Help closing lightbox upon successful form submit

Hi, I’m new to Velo so help appreciated. I’m trying to get a lightbox (#lightbox1) to automatically close upon successful submit of a form (#wixForms2 - or is it #form2 - not sure why there’s two form names).

It seems like the best way is to have it close after the success message (#text116) displays for a number of seconds, say 3 seconds.

Appreciate if you can be as explicit as which element I should associate the code snippets with. In doing research through past posts, it wasn’t clear if I need to add the code to the lightbox, the form, submit button, or the success message code.

It will depend if you use an own custom created form, or if you are using → WixForms.

If you are using a custom form, you can do whatever and however you want.

If you are using predefined elements and apps, then you will have to use the offered APIs for the predefined element, like for example here…

When you take a look which CODING-OPTIONS are given to interact and work with wixForms-element, then you will recognize that you have for example…

Choose one of the given options and complete your code.

I have the same query. We appriciate your reply with above links. However, being new to code, pls give us the final code with above given fields of form.
So form closes aytomatically after clicking submit button (without clicking X burton.)
