Help needed: SumUp payment options missing in Wix Bookings — only PayPal appears!

Question:
Why does PayPal appear as the only payment option during Wix Bookings checkout, while SumUp (Przelewy24, cards, digital wallets) does not appear at all?

What are you trying to achieve:
I want my clients to be able to pay online using SumUp payment methods (including Przelewy24, credit/debit cards, and digital wallets) directly in the booking checkout flow.
Currently, only PayPal is showing up as an online payment option during booking, even though PayPal is not set as the default payment method. SumUp options are completely missing from the booking payment screen.

What have you already tried:

  • Double-checked all payment settings in Wix Payments and Wix Bookings — everything is set up correctly on my side.
  • Contacted Wix support who confirmed PayPal is not set as default but the problem persists.
  • Asked Wix support to escalate to advanced payment and bookings teams, still waiting on resolution.
  • Verified SumUp payments still work when sending invoices manually, so the integration itself is active.

Additional information:

  • The issue started recently (this week).
  • I have clients in Poland and internationally, so SumUp is critical for trusted local payment options.
  • This is urgent as it affects bookings and client trust.
  • Anyone else experiencing this or knows if Wix changed something about SumUp and Bookings integration?

As of March 2025, SumUp is temporarily unavailable to connect as a payment provider in Wix. Merchants who have already connected to SumUp can still process payments. However, if you disconnect your SumUp account from Wix, you will not be able to reconnect it for the time being.
