Hi everyone! I am a novice at this…am very frustrated. I just got off the phone with wix support and they said that I need to add custom code to finish-off the work i’ve done so far. He said that I’m almost there… can anyone help?
I have a shop with 5 different products. I want my customers to be able to leave a review for specific products. Also, I want the product page to automatically filter the reviews so that only reviews for that product is shown for that specific product in the reviews & ratings section.
There are 2 issues that I’m trying to solve for.
the first issue, is when users click “write a review” button on my product page, it opens up a lightbox, called “submit a review”. The submit a review lightbox is connected to a write only dataset that is linked to my database. When users fill out the information, the database is getting filled in… except for 1 important field called “products” which is a reference type. How do I get that to automatically fill-in?
The second issue is that I can’t get product specific reviews to show up only for the product that the customer is viewing. Currently, all product reviews show up on all product pages. I tried to add a filter so that the repeater elements only look at the reviews for the current item. Please see the 4 screenshots below. I hope someone can help! thank you so much for your time!
