Help - Server's IP address cannot be found

I Have published my site, done the SEO stuff, it used to work perfectly for months, and now I get the following message when I search my website!

mokkascrubs.com ’s server IP address could not be found.

  • I haven’t changed the domain, or any other details on my site
  • My domain and premium Wix plan are both still in place, no changes.

Any suggestions would be helpful!

Have you checked that your still connected to your domain ?

Your domain name is on client hold. I have asked Wix support to look into this and get back to you.

Hi Steve,

My domain had expired! ( I never received any notification!)
However now, I’ve gone and bought another domain mokkascrubs.com.au (used to be just mokkascrubs.com) and I’ve connected it to my website, in my domains it says that a redirect has been successfully set up, however it doesn’t work and the same message appears about the IP servers address not being found. I feel like a total dodo, I can’t figure it out!!

Your redirect is now pointing at your old domain name which as we know is no longer active.

How did you perform the redirect?

I am wondering if you might have been better off getting the domain from Wix as part of your plan and we would make sure everything is synchronised :-).

That being said the forum is really for code issues. Which this slightly goes beyond.

Can I suggest you take a look at this article to see if it helps you out?

I just bought a domain today, and it used to work, But now it is not working at all.
