Help with Interactive Objects

Hi,

I recently started a side project for work and decided to use WIX since the resources 23 had availablree afairly outdated. Initially I was going to make a quick, easy site but as I started building it I decided to add some interactive elements. The only problem is my experience with coding is zilch so I’m a little over my head. I did some research before hitting the forum but either couldn’t find what I was looking for or just didn’t understand. Anyway, if anyone could help me out I would be so grateful.

This is one of the pages I am currently working on. Still a long ways to go! Hope I can explain this properly but I am trying to link the white circle object to the text box. So basically, whenever you click the white button at the bottom text will appear in the text box above. I was planning on having several of these buttons displayed at the bottom of the page and depending on which one you clicked different text would appear. To give you an idea of what I’m aiming for - the white button (just a placeholder for now) will represent a question. You click on the “question” you want to ask and the guy in the pic will “answer”. His response will appear in the text box next to him depending on which of the questions you clicked on. Again, I hope that makes sense. If anyone knows how to help me with this or could point me towards some good instructional material I’d really appreciate it.

There are many many ways to do this, but the simplest way would be something like this:

$w('#button1').onClick(()=>{
    $w('#text1').text = 'your text here';
});

Hi, There is a feature in wix called Hover Box, which if you roll your mouse over it can have different response…need no coding
