The website I am building is an online graphic design store and I want to remove the “product quantity” from the cart because it doesn’t make sense for anyone to download the same design more than once and pay for multiple downloads of the same design. I built the website using the Wix online store template and after calling the customer care they told me that there is no way to remove that option from the template I am using and also there is no template that can fulfill my requirement ( removing the quantity option). Pls help me ASAP I am on the verge on an emotional breakdown :(.

Since it is not possible to remove the quantity field in the default layout of the cart, you can use Corvid to build your own custom cart. Just keep in mind that if you do this, you will have create your own custom checkout. (You can use the Pay API )
To build your own custom cart page, you can get information about the current cart with functions like getCurrentCart(). Please find more information about the wix-stores-backend api and what information about the cart you have access to here .

Thanks, Eddy, I really appreciate the answer and the suggestion of hiring a Wix partner but I found some really good you-tube videos from wix.com where they show how to add a custom checkout to your cart. I will try out that and if I still can’t figure things out I will definitely hire a Wix partner. Wix has a really awesome customer support team I am amazed to see the quality of customer support you people are providing even in such difficult times.
