Hover Box - animation issue

Hi everyone,

I’m stucked with the simplest thing, and I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong.
I can’t get an element present in the regular view animated on mouse hovering (like a text that moves up from its original position)

I add it to regular view, then apply it to hover view through the specific button; then I move it in the hover view, click the animation icon and toggle the animation button.
It seems right, but if I go back in regular view I find that the element has been moved too.
It doesn’t matter the way I’m going to change the element (position, size…), it always makes the same change on both views.
Is it a bug or what?

Thanks for any help!

The same if I try to animate the background image: if I change its opacity with overlay effect in the hover view, I found the changing has been made in regular view too…

Any help? Please, someone answer…

It would help if you provide a page link to your website so that the error can be seen and not just guess work from your info above.

Plus, as you mention that you are using Wix hoverboxes from within the Wix Editor as shown on the Wix Support pages here.

Are you actually using any code with these, as if you are not then you would be better suited going through Wix Support for more help with this issue as hoverboxes are not a Corvid element.

Hello, wondering if you resolved this issue? I’m having the same problem! Thanks.

I understand, I thought it was the same to post here, sorry for my mistake.
I will send the request through Wix Support, cause I’m not using any extra code. Thanks for your answer.

Hi, I’m having the same issue and do not know how to move forward. Could you please help me?

I’m having the same issue. Did you guys ever figure it out?

I’m not sure if I’m just oversimplifying the issue/haven’t understood correctly, but If you use the duplicate function (apply to ‘hover’ etc) to copy from regular to hover and vice-versa it will automatically update the position of both, if moved in one, even if you only duplicated to get that initial position of an item or text. You will have to just copy/paste manually and then move to position in one or the other. Only elements you wish to remain static can be ‘apply to’ I believe.

Hopefully this helps someone.
