How can I use media picker in a settings custom panel

I’m having trouble with
I am trying to let users (editors) pick images from the media picker in a widget custom panel so the images are used in the widget. I can’t seem to find a way of having a button for example that would open the media picker and then return the selected image url so I can save it in the widget props. Any ideas?
