How can I use this Github feature in Wix Studio?

This is a function that allows you to rotate images to show a 3D model, I have seen that large companies like Honda or other similar ones use it.

I don’t know how to implement this in Wix Studio.

Does anyone know how to do it please?

I know @chris-derrell does some awesome stuff with 3d models.

Perhaps something Chris can shed some light on

Hmm, that GitHub repo looks to be about 10 years old.

A more modern approach would be to using something like Google’s Model Viewer to add the 3D element to your site. Here’s a guide on how you can do it on Wix Studio - youtube.com/watch?v=y-p-M8SGHik

If your site is a free site though, unfortunately you won’t be able to use custom elements to do test it. You can use this page instead to freely embed a 3D model on your own site (using the iframe) - Lix AR

That’s great, thank you very much, Chris.

If that repository has been around for a while, and I’ve seen that sites like Honda and Photobash use it, it’s mainly to display 360-degree images to make the site lighter.

Ahh, gotcha. I hope the 3D model solution works for you, as it’s a little different from having a 360 image. That said, the same library can be used to do 360 photo environments. Example here - <model-viewer> Augmented Reality
