I’m having trouble with
I’m having an issue with an existing form. It’s not passing information from a checkbox. I looked at the permissions and it looks like it needs write access. So I made a new collection with updated permissions, but I don’t know how to associate the existing form with my new collection.

Sorry for any confusion, but I think if you could explain your situation a bit more specifically, it would make it easier for other forum members to help you. By the way, the form you’re using in the Wix Editor — is it the new form or the old form?
Wix actually has two types of forms: a newer one (which has been around for quite some time now) and the older, original form. The way you handle things differs slightly between the two, so it would be best to clarify which one you’re using first. You can check which form you’re working with using the link below. According to that page, the new form is also available in the Wix Editor, so confirming that point seems important in your case.
Also, as a general note, when you add a form to your site, Wix automatically creates a dedicated form collection (database) for it. It’s usually most natural to use that default collection. Of course, I understand that you originally tried to do that, and when it didn’t work as expected, you decided to create your own custom collection and connect it manually.
However, I believe the default, automatically generated collection should normally work fine, so it might be a good idea to start by asking for others’ opinions while following that route.

I’ve never used Wix before. I assume this is the new form. It looks like what Wix has on their forum.
If I create a new form from scratch I’m thinking that might fix the problem, but there’s already an existing form. It’s just not puling the one checkbox element to the back end. I figured I could just replace this and it would be good, but I can’t get the checkmark to submit currently.

I usually use the Wix Studio Editor, not the regular Wix Editor. But on the day you asked your question, I ran a quick test in the Wix Studio Editor — I created a new form, added a checkbox field to it, and tested submitting the form on the live site. Everything worked fine, and the checkmark appeared correctly in the form’s collection. Is what you’re trying to do basically the same as this?
