How do I get the value of the reference field?

Is there any way to get the value of the reference item? For example, if it is an integer or a string like name such as Tom Hanks instead of the _id. I found out that while it is the value on the database that shows, it is actually the _id it represents.

@freedfoxworldwide There is, but there is going to be a learning curve if you haven’t coded any queries before. The include function returns the reference field data.
