How do I set the background to a particular colour, rather than white? I can set the background for particular sections, but what about the overall background of the site?

Take a look at this page I have created. https://shaunlotay.wixstudio.com/my-site-8/blank - As the page doesn’t fill the screen on all monitors, there is white space underneath the footer which I cannot seem to change. This affects all pages where the site content doesn’t fill the full screen height.

I have searched all the settings and help articles but have been unsucessful.

The white space above the header and under the footer is beyond your page limits itself. So changing the page background will not solve that either.

Here’s a solution for that, all you have to do is change the HEX code to your desired one and copy - paste the code in your site’s custom code section through the dashboard. But using custom code is currently only available for premium sites so you will have to upgrade your site to a premium plan first.

as you are using Wix Studio why not set the section to be 100vh so you dont have the space under the footer.

Thank you Dan_Suhr and Pratham. I have just upgraded to a premium site. When the domain connects, I will trial both methods and report back. I sincerely appriciate the support.
