I need to transfer html files and graphics from another site I created. I previously used FTP Filezilla. How do I do this on wix and make it work?

As for the HTML code, you can embed HTML by adding the HTML app . As for uploading files (such as images and documents)- you can upload them to the media manager .

I’m here for the same reason. I have an entire webpage in HTML and need to ftp this to Wix. Unfortuanley, I have approached Wix for many other issues and all I hear is “we can’t do this” in one form or another. Wix really needs to up their game.
@durrantcolin Well, we don’t do that. Wix does not support ftp access. Wix sites do not support “native” HTML pages. All pages are built using the editor. You can use the HtmlComponent to embed HTML/Javascript code on a page.
What are the “many other issues” you inquired about? Maybe there are ways to accomplish these using Corvid.
Over two years later, and I am here for the exact same reason: I have 360º virtual tours (hotspots, like Google Streetview) that I’d like to show on my Wix site. Still no option for FTP.
The software that I use creates all necessary files to be uploaded to an FTP (not just the images) so I only need to add the folder’s address on my site, and voila! done!
I’m an architect and 3D artist, not web designer/developer. This simple task is turning to a nightmare.
“Well, we don’t do that” great customer service. Nearly 1 1/2 years later and still no FTP support, making a project that should take me a couple hours take a few days. Someone doesn’t listen to their customers. Do better, Wix.
@yisrael-wix wow… nice answer with a ton of attitude! Not great customer service here. I’m looking for similar options. FTP is pretty standard. So it’s a reasonable request. From what I can tell, this has been an ongoing request for multiple years now. If you’re not going to provide FTP support, then there should be a tutorial or something to help people work around this. The only option I’m seeing offered is to host your content somewhere else then bring it in through an iFrame or something. This is not an answer! Wix really needs to figure this out for people trying to do more than a simple blog and catalog.
Please Provide FTP support! If you all know there’s a lot of problem why don’t you all add FTP?
