How this fragment from "A cosmic scroll journey" was made?

Question:

Check the attached video. How this fragment was made? The spinning sphere is clearly more complex than just rotating flat image, because it’s 3D. Is that a video controlled by a scroll? A GIF? Or something else?

What are you trying to achieve:
I want to do something similar to the reference. I’m going to create a 3D object and record it from different angles. But I need a format in which I can place it to WIX Studio and make it controllable with the scroll.

This looks like a mix of Horizontal Scroll ,some text animation in the foreground and an embedded HTML object from Spline in the background. Technically you just copy/paste right from Spline to Wix so you don’t have to write any code. If its not from spline then its a movie which has been set to play a certain number of frames per scroll click. You can find that trick in the animation panel (lightning bolt).

Nah, not exactly. Because my question is not about the horizontal scroll itself, but 3D object rotation that is linked to the scrolling on the example above.

Hmm, tracking the click on the scroll bar and playing the video accordingly - this is more exotic than I could imagine :smiley:

What is the Spline though?
