hi everyone,
I want to add reCAPTCHA for my form but I cannot follow the steps from https://support.wix.com/en/article/corvid-tutorial-using-recaptcha-to-protect-data-submission as it’s not for Editor X, the element list do not have a captcha button.
Is there any other ways to add reCAPTCHA in Editor X?
Thanks for reading!
Hi!
I’m Maayan and I work for the Editor X Product team. Thank you for your feedback and for being in our beta group.
In regards to CAPTCHA, we don’t currently offer this feature, but we have plans to begin working on it in the future as we know it offers value to our users. I will pass your feedback on to the rest of the Editor X team.
Please feel free to reach out again if you have any more feedback or ideas for us.
Best regards,
Maayan
Mi @maayank , any update on this?
Thank you
Hi @maayank , any updates on this ? currently there’s no way to prevent spam on custom forms!
Halo Editor X please any update on CAPTCHA??? some clients really request this on their website!!!
The feature is not currently on Editor X yet but will forward the feedback to the team.
It is available for Wix Forms though if your client does not need a custom form. https://support.wix.com/en/article/editor-x-adding-and-setting-up-forms#anti-spam-protection
we have a wix booking app on the site where clients fill in their detils, is it possible there?
And second question…
Is is possible to export all these filled in details into an excel sheet?
The Wix Booking app has it’s own form independent of Wix forms when users are booking their session. Don’t believe reCaptcha is a field but you can add a custom fields if necessary. You can view the responses as listed here but I don’t know if all the responses can be exported. Will forward both options as feedback to the relevant team.
Any updates? It’s been two years…
hi, @alexpharaon02 at this point we are offering the Captcha tool in Wix Forms inside the Editor X, you can add it as a field, which type of Captcha element you would like to see?
@andrewt Wow, that’s great to hear! I wasn’t adding the standard form, rather I was doing it myself with Velo. Is that possible? For example, on Wix Editor I know you can just drag and drop a Captcha element (eg. the one when people sign-up for accounts typically) onto the site. Would I have to add it through the form for Editor X?
@alexpharaon02 I’ve discussed this with the Velo team, and they say that you should be available to use it as like they describe it here Velo Tutorial: Using reCAPTCHA to Protect Data Submission
but in case there will be some problems, please contact us back, or the Velo team
