I am trying to configure a header which shows the background image on the page (i.e. is transparent) but is also frozen, such that the page elements are hidden behind the header as you scroll. The background image is set to parallax, and the header is frozen with no elements aside from a button with a link (‘M. Curtis Allen’). Please see the images below to get a sense of the problem. I am totally new to Velo, so assume I know nothing. Thanks in advance for any help!
Hello,
We have a Velo Example (with a video!) that demonstrates how to create this: https://www.wix.com/velo/example/sticky-header
Hi there. Thanks for replying, but I don’t think this solves my particular issue. This allows one to make the header transition from transparent to opaque as one scrolls down the page; this is not what I’m after.
What I’m trying to achieve is to maintain the header background as transparent (i.e. continuing to show the background image) but hiding the all page elements as one scrolls since they interfere with the header text. Essentially what I’m aiming to do is make it appear as if the page text (in black in the screen cap above) disappears into the header as one scrolls down the page. Thanks again for any help.
