How to create a preloader on the main page using the WIX code?

Everyone knows from the long loading of hard sites on the WIX.
A large number of failures of visitors occur due to the fact that the preloader in the browser has already reached the end, but the site visitor does not see anything on the site for 5-7 seconds. I understand that this is done in order to technically show the fast loading of styles and scripts, but site visitors simply leave. since the standard browser preloader has reached the end, and the page is empty. is It possible to create an empty home page with a single hyphae element with the image of a preloader that could quickly load and delay the user a little more without leaving the page and after a short time interval of 2-3 seconds some wix code could redirect the user to another page that already could load longer without losing the visitor???
Guys, please help!

Have you tried to speed up the page instead? Using the new Page Settings under Advanced?

I wrote many times to the technical support service and asked to install a preloader on the main page. I also did intro type pages. I tried to optimize the main page and reduce the content, but all this does not give the desired result! It is necessary that the standard preloader in the browser does not end until the site is fully loaded, or might simply add the preloader function as an additional output of wix elements.
The last option is to figure out how to insert a preloader with the help of the wix code…???

If you goto Page Settings on your page, do you see this options now?

Yes, I see this option! I activated it, but I am not sure that the people who will come to the site for the first time will feel the difference. Anyway, thanks for the tip. I will try to test this function on my other sites!

That thing will cache your page for visitors from the same region with same browser and device making those visitors get your page like 70% faster I guess so it is a major step forward. Test it on GTMetrix with and without and make sure to run the tests four times each for good numbers and you will see the difference.

It seems the load has really become faster)))
