How to hide columns from a table

I want to have a table from which a single column is hidden. In the column is a URL. The thing is, I still want the content from that column (which I get from a database) to be accessible from my code, as I want the onRowSelect() method to open that URL. I hope this is clear. This is my first time posting on the forum and I’m a huge n00b with Corvid.
