How to install Google Optimize using GTM on Wix site?

Hi,

I am running into some problem about installing Google Optimize on my Wix site. As I can’t simply edit my Google Analytics tracking code on Wix, I installed Google Tag Manager, and tried to add Optimize via it. But Optimize keeps saying it can’t detect the code, so I think some part of the process I took was incorrect. Does anyone have a detailed process to go through to make sure Optimize can run smoothly?

Hi Ido - I’m also having this problem despite my GTM functioning fine for my Google Ads tracking. Is there a common issue that prevents this working? Any guidance much appreciated.

I contacted Support and they said using Google Optimize won’t work through the Tag Manager or at all. I guess we’ll have to wait, use another A/B Test software (which usually costs a lot) or switch over to another website builder.
