How do you get and integrate my clients customer data like emails and so on in the fastest and easiest way possible

What are you trying to achieve:
[Im making a website that offers email templets and automated sending of emails to my clients customers but before i get started i want to know whats the easiest way to get all their customer data without needing to manually put in all there customer details. (Would an API work, that’s my assumption but i wouldn’t even know where to begin) ]
What have you already tried:
[Ive tried looking on Youtube and other forms but they are all using there API for something else like to display google maps or something like that.]
