How to obtain my MemberID

I’m having trouble with
I am trying to use Github, VS Code to publish code to my website. One of the items I need for this is my MemberID. I can’t believe something so easy is so difficult. I have tried multiple methods, either the instructions are obsolete or just don’t plain work. Is there a way to get this information?

You could locate your member-ID within the CMS collection for member data. [Make sure you enable app collection]

I tested this with a velo function and got the same result:
