I am trying to record ratings using the input rating element as well as displaying the ratings that have been submitted using a display element.

I can’t however seem to find a way of doing this using CMS whereby I don’t need to use code and hence Wix Studio - I have built my whole site in standard Wix Editor and would have to start from scratch :frowning:

I want to be able to record the count of the ratings that have been submitted to display on the ratings display element, as well as the average of all ratings that have been submitted. Currently I can only record one rating at a time and my display element just shows 5 ratings when a 5* rating has been submitted, rather than 1 rating.

I think you will need to code this in the standard editor, unless there is an app in the marketplace that will suit your needs. No need to swap to Studio.

Oh I didn’t realise you can code in the standard editor! Do you have any links on where I can go to find out how to do it? Nothing had come up on my trawl of the internet :slight_smile:

Thank you!! Do you know if this will work without being within Wix Stores? I want to add a rating to a dynamic page, to have the rating, number of ratings count and rating average be stored within that row in the CMS.

You can learn how it works and apply it to any database.

Thank you, I have followed the steps - really helpful! I’m not sure how to connect up the input element of the rating side of things. I think there was a tutorial when creating the lightbox, but it’s saying unavailable on your site.
