I have been working on a fun App for some time now. It’s a block-based page builder for Wix. The inspiration behind it was that a lot of Wix users do not have a web design background and struggle with creating responsive, well-structured pages(Wix Harmony has made it way easier, though). Their element overlaps or do not have a good structure.
I am trying to build a block-based builder(like Elementor). The app has fewer but necessary features, pre-made components, and blocks based architecture that makes designs more structured. I have also integrated a good template system(at least I tried to).
However, it still has some bugs which I might have missed in components, core editor, settings, etc.
I will be grateful if someone can test the app in their free time and give me feedback on how to improve it, or report any bugs they find.

Its a full-on website page builder. My idea is to create a simple block-based editor that uses a moduler block based design. And yes, the template is a big part of it. I plan on integrating lots of templates into it. I am using the new Wix CLI to make it. The idea came when I saw lots of Websites built by people themselves lack structure, their elements were all over the page and it wasn’t responsive.
The entire app is modular and responsive out of the box. There is only a desktop editor that automatically makes the page responsive. And the pages are saved in CMS so users can use it at any time, have multiple pages at their disposal at any time.
Hey, it’s been a while, @V-Blog ! Every time I step away from Wix to focus on other things and eventually come back, I’m always blown away by how much you’ve innovated. It’s honestly super inspiring.
To be real, I haven’t been able to keep up with the Wix CLI or app development side of things yet—it’s still a bit over my head (lol). I keep telling myself, ‘Maybe today is the day I dive in,’ but life’s been so busy lately that I’m already at max capacity. I usually just end up crashing on the couch watching the latest anime and passing out.
Wix has this habit of seeming quiet for a while and then suddenly dropping a mountain of new features that are impossible to keep up with—and honestly, I feel like you’re becoming a part of that ‘official’ Wix ecosystem yourself! This latest feature of yours is something Wix should have implemented in the first place. Since it’s such a versatile extension, I’m sure it’ll be a huge hit once it’s stable.
By the way, I remember you saying before that you ‘can’t program,’ but I’ve finally realized that was definitely a joke! Looking forward to seeing what’s next.
Lol… Nah man, I am still a Dork in Coding… Now I just have AI which is doing everything fo r me. Actually, CLI now has Claude and has focused docs with LLM-compatible markdown output. I am just using AI to build the stuff.
The New CLI is very good now. Wix devs have integrated the Astro framework in the CLI, which is my favorite!!! There are still a few bugs here and there, but it’s working out well for now.
Wix Docs, Claude, Random Ideas, and a whole lot of duct tape to put everything together is what I am doing….
Looking forward to seeing what’s next.
