I need to create sub-sub page in Wix CMS (in Wix Editor, not Studio)

I cannot set up a URL path page flow that goes three levels deep (using Wix Editor) with the dynamic page/CMS function. All the presets only show List and then Item, when I need three total layers, which would include a Category page. All three are not an option to be nested together and be linked to create that type of depth.

Several articles from Wix suggest this is possible to have a sub-sub page be the final item page, but I think it is showing outdated guidance. See the instructions under Step 2 here that have not worked for me: CMS: Adding and Setting Up a Dynamic Item Page | Help Center | Wix.com .

My ultimate goal is to build the infrastructure needed to support this kind of page depth:

  • Dynamic item page: https://www.{your-domain[dot]com}/{collection-name}/{category}/{primary-field}

I have tried to do this for a whole day and nothing works. Please provide some current guidance and/or screenshots to describe how exactly I can build this and/or create the necessary references or links to support the use of sub-sub pages using the Wix dynamic pages/CMS.

A category page is technically another dynamic item page because each category value generates a different version of the page. It will not appear as a third “nested” page type. The three levels are created through dynamic URL structures and dataset links.

Wix has also introduced a newer Category Collection feature. The “Category page” option only appears when adding a dynamic page to a Category Collection—not to a regular collection. This is why you are currently only seeing List and Item.
