Hey @priyakmusic , I’m Jonathan from the Editor X team.
You can adjust the number of columns in Settings > Layout > Product Grid > Manual and set the Columns to 4.
You can also use Responsive to have the number of items per row automatically adjust according to the screen width.
I’ve noticed that the preview in the Editor doesn’t show the correct number of columns on mobile, although it’s displayed correctly on the Published site. Thank you for reporting this, I’ve forwarded the issue.
can u share me a video or screenshot in mobile version its still the same for me single column and row in mobile version …even after publish everything as same
Sure! Here’s the example.
Although, I suggest to keep 1 column on mobile, because it becomes difficult to click on a specific product as they become tiny.
i have 1k products …single grid none of the product will be sold… what is the point of buying editor x …resolve this please i cant put single grid and i want better resolutions please thanks
Hi @jonathant , how can I keep 2 columns of products on mobile and responsive on desktop/iPad?
Hey @angiepoon924 , you’ll need to adjust the Settings for the gallery on the mobile breakpoint.
See the video below.
Make sure you reopen the Settings panel when switching between breakpoints.
@jonathant I’m having the same issue. On the mobile version it just shows one item at a time and I wanted to show two. The examples that you showed don’t help me. Looking forward to your response thank you.
Hi Jonathan, I also have the same issue here when building a website for e-commerce. This video only shows the Image Gallery but not the SHOP. In Shop settings, changing the numbers of column and row will always affect the Desktop and Tablet but NEVER the Mobile, On the Mobile side it is always 1 column and 1 row…
Is there any solution for this problem?
This is still a big issue, because like he said if you have a lot of products within one categorie customers don’t want for example 30 products on one row on mobile or tablet but 15 in two rows or 10 in 3 rows.
setting the numbers to responsive makes it putting it automaticly in 1 row on mobile and also tablet mode and setting it to manually then you have the same problem.
But before you can select this option manualy or responsive there is a little trick to do that i found.
When you add the store gallery to a page when u use the + symbol on the left you don’t have the option in the settings of the store element to turn it to manualy or responsive.
Those options only pop up in the menu when you select that just added shop gallery and copy and paste it again on that page, then in the new one they will popup in settings.
But still those options doesn’t make any difference to the layout.(two or three rows on mobile or tablet)
In the editor x the system shows that the rows on desktop are what they have to be and on tablet also( only in real life on a real tablet it shows it like on mobile in one row).
the example that jonathan here shows is a pro gallery example and not a store example thats why it works for him but there are no buy buttons or anything then and it’s just not a store element.
can somebody help to fix this BIG problem please
Store holders who wants to sell a lot of products within one categorie see this including myself as a big issue to maybe change and go for woocommerce but i personally don’t like the whole setup of wordpress… please need help for this.
only one thing worked for me for a while and that was using a grid on the desktop tablet and mobile version that devided the section in two pieces. Then putting a store element for the categorie on the left and another on the right. but then you have to put that one collection of 30 products for example in two collections of 15, one for the left and one for the right but this is a mess when you want to add new products to that collection on that certain page.
another thing is: that i think editor x has it somewhere in there system the function to do this and let the store be responsive to put it in two colums or three on tablet because i recently found an example website made in editor x on editor x inspiration website.
this one underneath where you can see how it has to be but it doesn’t work for us in any way.
example:
the severe nature site:

https://www.severenature.ng/online-store
kind regards
Please tagg me in the response to this concern as i am having the same problem. I have seen qico’s example of severe nature and thats exactly what i am looking for. My customers are complaining about endless scroling.
Contacted the support team about this issue, they said
Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention. This is currently a known issue with Editor X and Wix Stores, unfortunately.
Rest assured, I’ve passed the feedback and the urgency of the situation onto the relevant team , but I do see you’ve also come across the temporary workaround of sorts that many people employ in the meantime (using grid galleries side by side), like you’ve done on some of your custom stores pages.
So i think we have to wait until the problem is solved and they fix there store layout, what i recently found in a wix template is that the “basic” wix (not the editor x)does support this feature in the store settings (the two columns function). But then offcourse the layout is not what it is in editor x for the rest of the site.
and we can vote for this feature to keep us updated when visible…
kind regards
Is there no work around for this yet? 2 columns on mobile is perfectly fine on any phone and has been for a long time. It feels like the mobile editor is 10 years behind on mobile resolutions.
Unfortunately, the feature is not released, the work is in progress.
You can vote for it here:
https://support.wix.com/en/article/editor-x-request-additional-product-page-layouts-in-wix-stores
along with this on mobile, you can use vertical grid with to columns and display 2 different store collections in it
There is, going back to the basic wix editor instead of the “more advanced” editor x
There it is possible to have two rows on mobile.
Already reported this long time ago still no fix in editor x and is more expensive.
Other option is switch to woocommerce
You can also connect a repeater to the stores dataset.

@jonathant This solution does not work! Even when using a Fixed Grid Gallery and then setting the number of columns to 2, in mobile mode, it still only displays as 1 column which is a real pain for shoppers. We need a solution that allows 2 columns in mobile just like it does on the classic editor (see image)
at this point this is the only option:

They are not going to solve this problem at all.
