Hey Eyal, FB messenger is now on my site, thanks only one problem:
seems to work perfectly on desktop. On mobile I see the messenger logo appear but I am not able to press on the icon… Would appreciate your help very much

I’m trying to embed my Facebook Pg on my Wix website using Facebook Plugin Instructions: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin/
Step 1: Include the JavaScript SDK on your page once, ideally right after the opening body tag.

Step 2: Place this code wherever you want the plugin to appear on your page.

I tried doing this by going to Tracking & Analysis, clicking on New Tool and pasting the code from step one above into it. I chose to Body Start option (as per Facebook recommendation). Then I pasted the code from step 2 above into an iframe. Nothing shows up in the iframe.
I also tried using the Wix app callled Facebook Feed. When I entered my FB URL into the settings area, nothing happened, my page did not show up inside the box.
I also tried choosing Embed Site and putting my Facebook URL in those settings. Nothing showed up in the box.

The code above is how I’d like to get my Facebook Feed onto my page. Please give some instructions. Thanks.

Hi Eyal, thank you for the step by step instructions. I can’t seem to get the messenger icon to appear on my mobile website. It is all turned on on ManyChat, so can you please provide insight into why its not working? Thanks!

Hi All, I followed the instructions here and i was able to copy my chatfuel script. Funny thing is, it works on mobile, but not on desktop! It’s complete opposite of some of the people in this thread.

Anyone find a solution to this?

Hi Eyal is there a way to turn off this option on mobile as i like the quick action bar that is already provided by WIX? just need the messenger for the main website

Hi All,

I have fb chat plug-in installed using the following code and it worked perfectly until yesterday when it stopped working - The chat bubble shows up but when I click on it, nothing happens. On mobile, the page loads for initial few seconds and when the fb chat bubble shows up the entire page goes blank. Appreciate any help as fb chat is an imporant part of our sales process. ‘my page id’ is replaced with my actual place id. I tried many chat widget as well but same result. Thanks.

Hi Parikshit,
I’m experiencing the same issue actually. I’ll have to put a support ticket in with wix because this lot was working relatively fine just the other day when I made the switch from Wix Chat to the FB Messenger plugin.

Thanks for sharing Jacob. It’d be good to keep each other updated as this chat plug-in is the single most important feature in our business and I’ve had to disable it because the bubble won’t click in to a chat when pressed. Hopefully, Wix team can act on it asap. On the other hand, could it be from FB? The chat plug-in seems to be working fine on other websites though.
