Invoices - the email sends a code to access the invoice, but the code doesn’t work. I want to remove this

What I’m trying to do
Remove that access code. Or if I absolutely need to have an access code - why doesn’t it work?
What I’ve tried so far
I tested it and the code doesn’t work. I’ve also search to see if this can be deactivated, but couldn’t find anything.
Extra context
When I enter the code here, nothing happens.
