Is it possible an element disappears when we scroll down or up the page?

Hi There,

I’ve created a button which I hover over on it an container box appears I want when a visitor scroll down or up the page the container box fades out!Aactually I code add the code so that when I mouse out of the container box the box will disappear but If I don’t the box wont disappear because some visitors may not mouse in and out of the container box so the box still remain in the page.
Please see the following link and if you hover over on the black button a container box will appear.
