I am considering WordPress due to the limited open-source of Wix. It has become extremely challenging to incorporate display ads on my website, which has been a source of frustration for me.
I am unable to redirect my ads.txt file to exotic, and unfortunately, the Wix support team has declined to assist with third-party integration.
SaaS products are not open source platform. Webflow, Wix, Squarespace are all closed platforms so you will run into limitations. There are things you can do with Wix using Velo code, the API integrations etc but no it is not an open platform.
While not an open source platform, there’s a lot that is possible using Wix, with hundreds of API’s and lot’s more features becoming more open.
